Term 1 week 8

During the past 2 weeks we have studied and learnt the following:

. We have learnt to create the Animation of the Brit Man, with our own ideas and how we would like it to be presented.
. Another technique we have learned by using Animation, is to create a Film reel animation, that allows the creator to insert his or her name into Film strip font.
. Concluding the section of animation, we learnt how to make it follow in a sequence, by using the animated gift file.

Finally we finished our 'short website' of the Brit School, by adding the final links (hyperlinks) and pictures that were necessary, for the website.In conjunction with this we managed to analyse some examples of websites and learning mistakes that are easily made so that we can not in the present future.

Term 1 Week 6

This week, during the lesson we have learnt to:-

. Create a Web Page on the program Dreamweaver
. Added index pages and links to other pages
. Created hyperlinks to the BRIT School homepage and other Pages
. Learnt to use the technique of the 'Rollover Button', which means to bring your page to the top of the current page you are on.
. Another technique we have learned is to create tables and insert cells within the table. Further more we have learnt to set the table into default settings
. Most importantly we have learnt to create templates and to save them into our Web Page

Term 1 Week 4

During this weeks lessons I have:
. Started the Assignment and began explaining what Protocols are and where they are located. Progressing with the assignment throughout the end of the week

. I have also managed to create a new Web Page with the program Dreamweaver and learnt new techniques with the programs basic facilities e.g. formatting techniques and the layout of the page.

• Uploaded and pasted some embed code to put a sideshow in this post
• Uploaded a video
• Customised the header with our own graphic using Paint Shop pro
• Customised many of the formats e.g. font colours
• Set up our comments facility for anyone to comment but for to moderate

Term 1 Week 2

My Digital Media Course Studio is situated in room 305

Term 1 Week 1

In this first week of the course on Digital Communication we have set up a web area on the school web server, copied files to it for later use, created a Google mail account and 'Blogger' account and learned a few details about the course and how to do well (Distinction). The next thing to do will be set up an online Picasa account (photo gallery) and make a slide show to embed in a post. Following this I will embed a Youtube video as well. We also had our first lesson in hyperlinking. E.G This is the school web site
