Term 2 Week 5

During this weeks Lessons:-

. My Computer which I was initially using, decided to crash again during when it was in use and as a result lost some of my data.

. As I relocated to another computer, I managed to fix long term problems that caused immense disrupt and problems for the production of the website. With some help from the teacher, catching up to my other collogues was a breeze.

. The actual detailed information, that goes into the web pages is completed, it is only the matter of copying and pasting it now!

Term 2 Week 4

During this weeks Lessons;-

. We carried on with the creation on our individual websites all through the week.

. Unfortunately the computer I was initially using decided to constantly crash on me, and therefore making me lose my work. As a result, I am behind others, but catching up with speed.

. I must continue to gain experience in creating websites and using the correct tools for the correct look on my website. e.g. using the crop tools to resize or fix a certain image, was a new technique I learned during this week and hopefully perfected it.

Term 2 Week 3

During this weeks lessons:-

. I managed to start the 'Index page' of my clients website, during this point I included the basic information for the Home page such as, welcoming viewers, introducing the website and what this website contains.

.Further experience in using new techniques with the creation of the web page, were explored. Creating animations were improved and hopefully will be used within the website pages.

Term 2 Week 2

During this week, one of our lessons were cancelled due to the abscense of the Teacher, who gave instructions to continue with current Coursework or Homework.

During the lesson we continued with:-

. The Present Coursework, which is to Create a Website and to find a client who is able to give feedback to that website.

. I have chosen to make my client, my father who is currently employed as an accountant within a Company of Accountancy.

. Finally I have managed to plan the outline of the website within the class time and to gain further information on website creating.

Term 2 Week 1

During this weeks lessons we have,

. Introduced our second coursework and planing it throughout the week for preparation.
. We have identified what features must be included within the second coursework and specific information.

. We have discussed our New Web page that we planned during the lesson and who will be our 'Client',to receive the information and give back feedback

Term 1 week 8

During the past 2 weeks we have studied and learnt the following:

. We have learnt to create the Animation of the Brit Man, with our own ideas and how we would like it to be presented.
. Another technique we have learned by using Animation, is to create a Film reel animation, that allows the creator to insert his or her name into Film strip font.
. Concluding the section of animation, we learnt how to make it follow in a sequence, by using the animated gift file.

Finally we finished our 'short website' of the Brit School, by adding the final links (hyperlinks) and pictures that were necessary, for the website.In conjunction with this we managed to analyse some examples of websites and learning mistakes that are easily made so that we can not in the present future.

Term 1 Week 6

This week, during the lesson we have learnt to:-

. Create a Web Page on the program Dreamweaver
. Added index pages and links to other pages
. Created hyperlinks to the BRIT School homepage and other Pages
. Learnt to use the technique of the 'Rollover Button', which means to bring your page to the top of the current page you are on.
. Another technique we have learned is to create tables and insert cells within the table. Further more we have learnt to set the table into default settings
. Most importantly we have learnt to create templates and to save them into our Web Page
